Canon 20D vs 30D - Which to buy?
I'm in the market for a "new" DSLR, this could also be a used camera as I'm trying to find a good deal. I've come down to these two cameras. I'm curious as to if the 30D is worth the extra money over the 20D. We use 20D's here where I work and I often borrow the cameras to do my own thing, but I want to have my own camera that I don't have to worry about getting back to work on time when they need it. I can't decide if the 30D is worth the extra $250ish dollars.
The camera I bought would be for my own personal use and used for hobby - possibly work somewhere down the line though.
The 20D's I have used, I absolutely love... I was just curious from other users as to whether or not the upgrade to 30D would be worth the price.
As for lenses, from what I understand - as long as I buy EF lenses and NOT EF-S, I shouldn't have any problems using them on full-frame cameras. What I'm not so sure about is what kind of image cropping I'll encounter using a full-framed lens on a non full-framed sensor.
Thanks for all the help guys... But I have another question... About third-party lenses. How can I tell if the lens is made for the smaller sensor or full-framed on third-party lenses such as Tamron?

DSLR help? Canon 20d vs 30d vs Nikon D70?
Which one would you recommend? I've never owned a DSLR before, although I own several film SLRs and a couple point and shoots. Money is tight at the moment, and the price is right on these models. I especially like the 1/500 flash sync on the D70, even though I don't know how much I would use it. I guess my biggest question is whether the difference in price between the 20d and 30 is worth the difference in bodies. I was drawn initially to these models because they were advanced models a few years ago, and with the change in technology they have fallen in price. Thanks!
